8.3 Reading Analogue Charts

New tachograph charts can be added using

The VDO Chart analyser or

The keyboard

Rapid Chart Scanner (Operating instructions are shown in the 'TIS-Web Rapid Chart Scanner

Installation and User Guide')

Condition

The VDO Chart Analyser must be properly connected to use for capturing tachograph charts. You must also

select the settings for the Chart Analyser - to do this, click on Settings > Chart Setup

Proceed as follows to add a new tachograph chart:

On the Download tab .1., click on [Chart Analyser] .2. to capture analogue tachograph charts.

The Analyse Chart - Copy chart details page with text boxes for the chart centre fields is displayed;

The handwritten data from the tachograph chart is keyed into the chart centre field.
