6.1.2 Activating further modules (demo mode)

In demo mode you can work with "real" data and explore TIS-Office. Only the

"Scanner" module's functions are limited. The data you have entered is still

available if you license TIS-Office and the desired modules after a period of

maximum 40 days.

For a summary of the modules and their functions please refer to the marginal

note "Module summary" on page 6-8.

Follow these steps to enter a software key and activate the demo mode:

Important

The "TIS-Office 2.x Demo Software-Keys.txt" file contains the software keys for

activating the demo mode. You will find this file in the "Demo Keys" folder on

the product CD.

Important

The "Scanner" module includes test data that is stored in the database in the

same way as real data.

Don't forget to delete this data when you have licensed TIS-Office and work

with "real" data. This also applies to all data entered to test the program.

1 Start TIS-Office and log on.

See also the marginal note "Initial login" on page 6-3.

2 Select "Utilities > Software Key".

All the modules installed on the computer will be displayed.

3 Select the module that you want to activate and click on [Modify].

The Software Key dialogue box will open.
