Creating TIS-Office

ToolBox folders

Create the TIS-Office ToolBox folders and assign the permissions below:

Follow these steps to share folders in the network and set up permissions:

Important

For TIS-Office ToolBox you should create folders for database backups and

restored database files, e.g. "Backup" and "Restore". These folders must be

shared – both with the stand-alone and the Client installation.

Restore Read Read -

1 Start Explorer and select the TIS-Office folder that you want to share, e.g.

"C:\Program Files\TIS-Office Backup".

If you set the permission at a higher hierarchy level, it will be applied to all

folders and files at lower levels.

2 Open the properties dialogue box by selecting "Properties" from the shortcut

menu.

Sharing folders

3 Select the "Sharing" tab:

4 Select "Share this folder" and enter the share name.

5 Click on [Apply] to save the settings.
