4 Installing TIS-Office

TIS-Office:

Destination folder

11 Select the destination folder in which TIS-Office is to be installed. If you want

– to accept the default setting, click on [Next >].

– to modify the default setting, click on [Browse…], select the new path and

click on [Next >].

The current folder will be displayed under Destination Folder.

A progress indicator shows how far the TIS-Office installation has advanced.

Then the installation program will search for existing databases. If

• an earlier TIS-Office database version is found, you can update it now or

later. Select

– [Yes] if you want to update the database structure to the latest version.

– [No] if you want to keep the old database structure.

When TIS-Office is installed, you must update the databases manually

using the TIS-OFFICE Upgrade function in ToolBox. If not, you cannot

start TIS-Office.

Office". You will also find detailed information on how to upgrade earlier

TIS-Office database versions in the TIS-Office ToolBox User Guide.

• a database installed with another application is found, you will be prompted

to enter the database user name and password. Continue with step 12.

• no database is found, the TIS-Office database will be created. Continue

with step 13.
