TIS-Office • Edition 07/2007
2 Enter the following syntax in accordance with this example.
The syntax must be in the following form:
"Directory in which the TISExportCharts.exe file is stored" Start date ~ End
date ~ File name ~ Database ~ Separator ~ "Directory in which the Export file
should be saved" ~ TISExportCharts.INI
Example:
• By default the file TISExport.exe is stored in the "C:\Program
Files\Siemens\TIS-Office\Bin" directory.
• Let's say you want to export the data for the period from 01.01.2007 to
31.01.2007.
• The name of the export file is e.g.Chartsexport.txt.
• The data from the TISOffice company database is to be exported.
•The ";" (semicolon) is to be used as a separator.
• The export file is to be stored in the "C:\Program Files\Siemens\TIS-
Office\TISExportChart"directory.
For this example, you must enter the following syntax to the letter:
"C:\Program Files\Siemens\TIS-Office\Bin\TISExportCharts.exe"
01.01.2007~31.01.2007~Chartsexport.txt~TISOffice~;~"C:\Program
Files\Siemens\TIS-Office\TISExportChart"~TISExportCharts.INI
Important
The start date and end date parameters must be entered using the same date
format which is set in the operating system's Regional and Language Options.
If this is set to dd/MM./yyyy, for example, then you should enter 01/01/2007.
See "[start] > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > tab:
Regional Options > [Customise] > (Customize Regional Settings dialogue
box) tab: Date".
You must separate the individual parameters with a "tilde" (~).
Important
The TISExportCharts.INI file will be stored in the "TISExportChart" folder
during TIS-Office installation.
Tip
In order to achieve the latest status each time the export file is created, enter
1st January as the start date and a future date as end date, e.g. 31st December
of the current year.
